Happy New Year all.

I drove 25 miles this morning to try a field I spotted yesterday for geese. With a few more days left I need a couple more to smoke. Today wasn't the day. I should have stayed home!

These were in my back yard when I got home. I'm just not into swattin'em in the back yard.

Yes there is but the wind has to be out of the west or they come in on the down river side of the bridge! You can't legally sit on the down river side without being to close to the bike path. There is only a couple of places that put you farther than the required yardage from the bike path and the DNR guys know it. I've seen several get nailed being in the wrong place over the years.

Me too. All the hunting gear is put away and I redid all my spinning reels Saturday while thinking of a blind idea similiar to what you did to the Bluebill and watching the the Walking Dead marathon on tv...hehe

Simple problem Ed. Take some of that "Police Tape" for crime scenes and block off the bike path for a few hundred yards. You're good to go now buddy. Glad to help. No one on the path, no laws being broken I believe? What's happened to creativity these days. Jeez.......

All my hunting stuff is put away as well. Still waiting for good (safe) ice to do some ice fishing. Been out a couple of times but didn't feel safe venturing out to the giood deeper spots.

Hey Mark,

I like the police tape idea. I may have to put some posts in the ground on the tip of the island and secure my spot so the yahoo's down river from me stop trying to build a blind where I want to hunt!
