The question (a few days back) on good BBSB books sent me to look through my collection of books. I grabbed one of the oldest to start and haven’t gotten to the second book. Dr. William Bruette was an editor for Forest & Stream when he published the book. Its full of interesting stuff even if his brant shooting story was about those left hand pacific black brant. The book contains a series of chapters on building a number of boats including multiple sketches on most of the boats and full instructions on steaming ribs and other building methods. I figured I post the major drawing from most of the boats including a sink box for those of you thinking traditional duck boats.

I trust this doesn't step too hard on any copy-write issues but I figured what better group to enjoy the old boat sketches. I enjoy the punt in that it is the exact same idea as the glassed foam boats typical of the one Dani made. No storage under deck, its just a floating cockpit / layout. The instructions call for 3" dia. corks to seal the four compartments so they can be bailed out.
