Transporting decoys

Been trying to figure this out for a little bit now.....how do you guys carry your decoys in the boat? I have some older Herters that I acquired and they are in like new condition, would like to keep them nice....they are the standard size so they don't fit well in a slotted bag......

Just looking for thoughts and suggestions.....thanks

Slotted bags at a reasonable price and any size you could ever need.

I carry my standard size decoys in large plastic totes. A dozen per tote, already clipped to the longline.

I have some of the Avery slotted bags and my Herter's fit nicely in them.

I have 2 of the Avery slotted bags for my mod 72 divers (I think I have the model right), they fit snug in the slots. These smaller mallard and pintail decoys (about 13" or so) fit 2 per slot but real tight.....

When I ran 63's I would turn the heads to a sleeper position and run two per slot (Avery bags). One breast down, the other breast up, keel to keel. I would always leave one slot open but I usually do that anyway for extra stuff... 22 decoys in a 12 slot bag was pretty good for what I needed

Dave makes awesome bags too. A little pricey, but there are none better.

Good luck, 63's are an odd size for commercial slotted bags.

i have a custom decoy bag for my herters cork decoys. the avery slotted bag wasn't big enough for them. don't know if she is still in business but here is her web page www.customdecoybags.com her number is 856-983-4935 and they are well made

Her site isn't working I can't navigate past the home page I click on the words for the bags and it doesn't take you anywhere. is it me or is anybody else having this problem aswell
