I was lucky enough to hijack the traveling decoy en-route to Sutton and company. Thanks to Kevin Layne, he showed up mid day, mere minutes before I was to leave to the airport to pick up Ed K. (from the site) and head out to the marsh for an afternoon hunt. We got on the water a bit late, but it didn’t matter, before long we were getting him acquainted to California salt and Bluebills. Tomorrow’s trip is hunting a historic club in the Suisun Marsh with Ed K and Steve Sanchez.

I had not seen Ed K in a year and he said he was flying in on Delta. Could this be him: "Father I have sinned - today I traveled 3000 miles to hunt ducks in CA, have I gone crazy?"
