Upstate NY Black Duck- Any Ideas?

Anyone have any thoughts as to the carver of this decoy. Originated in the St. Lawrence region and could have come from either side of the river. Pretty interesting helmeted bill carving and a very slender and shapely neck. Appears all original. Has tack eyes.

If you don't get an answer, I could look in a book that I have. I think it's titled "Decoys of the Thousand Islands". Good book that goes into the lives of several different carvers and their styles of carving. Good stories about several of the characters.
