Anyone from VA in the Chesapeake Bay area willing to share some information? I won't ask for spots, just some general questions about hunting the Bay. I've hunted Chincoteague area in the past, but would like to try the Bay this year. PM me if you're willing to give some guidance. Thanks.

ive hunted the pocomoke sound area, and some on the bay, but i am a waterfowl noob. hunting tips i cant give you, but i have worked on the bay for 4 years crabbing, working my way through college, so if there is an area you are interested in, ive likely been there, so ask away.

I've hunted the North Landing river with a guy who was a member of a duck club up there and later was the guest of a club that has deeded blinds close to the mouth of the James river opening onto the CB. AS far as public hunting I'd ttry googling the Va. dept of Game and Fish.
I fish the Cheapeake quit a bit and one of the best places in the US to Saltwater Fish (IMHO) is the artificial islands of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
One other place I hunted (on a guided hunt) was Tangier Island. Be sure to get out to Tangier whether you hunt it or not It is a beautiful and historic place.
