Ward Foundation NEA Grant...

Just got back from the 2012 Chesapeake Challege at the Ward Museum. It was again an honor to participate in the NEA Grant. Good to see all the other instructors including Mark Schupp, Jason Russell, Jim Higgins and Brian Ballard. Also good to see George Williams. Congrats to all the guys on their ribbon winners, students and great decoys!

Here are a few shots of my students decoys at work. Decoys by Jim Williams, Bill Brown, Christian Brown, Tim Speight, John Bare and Roy Hanks. For John and Roy, these were their first decoys... Congrats to all the guys! Pat

Lots of great looking decoys there. That had to be enjoyable going to the Chesapeake Challenge.

Pat it was a pleasure to finally meet you and put several other faces with names. I know I had a ball with my "students". I've got a ton of pics I'll try and get posted when i get a minute or two.

Brad I know the commute would be a doozy but you're welcome to join my class!!hehehee

I got to get back in the loop over here. Good to see everybody at the show. Encouraging to see the desire of not only the carvers to continue the tradition, but also the museum's desire to do so also.

Same here Mark. It's so encouraging to see the young and new carvers and what they're doing. I hope many, if not all those decoys make it out in the marsh this season and lure some ducks within gunshot...

Take care and God bless! Pat

Unreal Mr. Gregory! If I could half as good as any of those carvers the birds might land in my decoys...

Regards,
