Waterfowl hybrids....

There always seems to be interest in hybrids. I found thsi web page looking to see if the birds that I was sold as rosybills are actually rosybillxredhead hybrids like I suspect. Anyway, they have pics of some real interesting hybrids.

I like putting them up on the refuge and letting those guys hash out what a particular bird somebody shot actually is better

Natural hybirds are a true trophy for a hard core waterfowler---I myself have been lucky enough to stubble upon one --but when it comes to aviculture hybirds they are a dime a dozen and they come in the most incredible mixes---I have seen birds like hooded x goldeneye (common I here) to hybrides as rare as pins X mellers---now that's a cool bird but bred artifically it loses it's intrigue---just my 2 cents
