What the heck is that stuff?

Well, Ok then. I guess I'll have to try it next year. My bird has already been cleaned, brined and is in the oven at this very minute. Might even have to make a big apple pie to go with it.

Never heard about sponge being edible, but I guess there's no reason that it couldn't be. It would help if it looked more like fat, which it sure does not. I know I would probably eat it before the stuff that crazy guy on the Travel Channel goes around the world eating.

Hey Boz,

It just came out of the oven. Now to cool, debone and chop up. Then a big pot of gravy to put it back into. It will be one of the meals on an upcoming fishing trip to Lake Erie.

How are you?

That don't seem right. How much goodness can come out of a ball of goo? I think this is a classic case of just coming up with something and going with it from a scientific standpoint. Did anybody ask the turkeys? Maybe they hate the thing as much as we do...maybe it's like a big double chin that gets in the way when they make love?

Pete,

Admit it,,, deep down under you have a mean streak. Enjoy your meal, you,, you,,,,,, oh heck, just go enjoy your meal and I don't even want to hear about how good it was. (I suppose you are also going to slap a big ole scoop of vannila ice cream on top of that warm apple pie.)

Pete
That turkey along with the walleyes you catch should keep you from wasting away :).
I'm coming along--thanks
wis boz
