Hello All,
I'm looking to purchase a new pair of hip boots. What do u recommend?

Check out cabelas mag 1600 hip boots. Nice and warm and cabelas stands behind there stuff. They make lighter weight if that's what your looking for. I used hipboots and went to waist high so my butt would not get wet now I use chest waders but the waist high are nice
 
I run a trapline from November to March and pretty much live in hip boots. The heavy duty Lacross boots hold up well, I get two sometimes three seasons from a pair(if I stay away from the barbed wire!)
