Opening day we, wife, me, and my buddy went goose hunting. My buddy shows up at my house, the boat is hooked up and ready to go, I'm having a coffee on the back porch and watch him load the boat up with his stuff.
As we're launching the boat, I look in it to check that everything is in. I count two guns. "Hey, did you put your gun in the boat." You can imagine what he said.
My wife and I took one each early morning. She's a sweetheart, she let him use her gun and he took one later that morning. His comment was "I got one and didn't even bring a gun".
It will be a lifetime before I let this one go.
