Wood Duck Mud motor video...way cool

I was watching this last night. My motor came Monday and my frame came yesterday. I got to tell you I'm impressed. The frame and components are well thought out, The material is sized well. The welding is very good. All sharp edges ground. Any time I had a question Jake was quick to answer. I'll recommend the PPF Wood Duck motor to anyone looking for a small mud motor. I'm thinking the same thing about a boat. I was thinking about a 1548 but I think that's going to be to big of a boat. I had a Lowe 1440 and I'll bet this motor would do a fair job at pushing it around. I'll be glad when the water starts going down so I can get it assembled.

You're right with the assessment of craftsmanship Ed. I picked my motor up at Jake's shop....clean and organized....attention to detail in this build for sure.

Looks fun! I have to say though that the song in that video might be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I dig the brush guard that guy has on the front of his boat though. Looking forward to a report on how that motor runs!
