Duck season is almost over and I am back in the market for a 14-16' semi-v.
I prefer only the hull, but am open to boat, motor & trailer, just depends on the motor, trailer & price.
Mainly, I am looking for a:
  1. Grumman 145SS or 165SS (Split Seat)
  2. Sylvan/Smokercraft Alaskan 15 DLX
  3. Lund SSV-14 or 16 (cant seem to find to many of these for sale though)
  4. 14-16' Starcraft with open floor plan
  5. Lund S-14 or WC-14
As you can see, I prefer a walk-thru. The Lund S-14 and WC-14 are easily converted to walk-thu, so that why I would consider them.
Will entertain 16' boats depending on model, motor, price, etc...

Prefer 25hp and galvanized trailer, but am not too picky. I can always keep my trailer & 18hp Nissan.

I am willing to drive a ways to get one in good shape. Was headed to Wisconsin last year to get one before the oil spill shut me down. Prefer closer, but going to the northeastern states ("near" the Pocono's or southeast PA), the Detroit area, or a days drive from Mobile around the south, is best.
But I am open to going anywhere reasonble.

If you have one you need to sell, or know of one for sale, please shoot me a PM or email at carl.ferraro@dcnr.alabama.go . Even if it doestn exactly fit my descriptions above, shoot it to me.
I will bump this up every other week or so.
Thanks guys!

try www.banditdeals.com then look across the top and click on "boats". The in the search just put whatever dealer you want & it will
show you what boats are on the internet available. I have been searching as well for a Starcraft, Lund, or Smokercraft, a deep V of some sort
for my hunts on Lake Erie & Ontario.

Carl,

I'm in NJ and I'm not sure if it fits your specs... but I will be putting my rig up for sale in the spring:

14ft Starcraft, all welded construction
25 four stroke yamaha electric start
Loadrite trailer

Carl if you travel that far for a boat be prepared to go thru the bearings and lights before you tow it home! Bring a spare tire and rim too! Seen too many one wheeled trailers along the interstate in my travels.
