YELLOWSTONE DUCK RELATED!!!

I just got back from a week in Yellowstone. Canyon campground had 4 FEET of snow on it!!!! There were a ton of Barrows GE's... I saw 2 Cinnies....

I have over 2400 pictures to go through.. but I thought this was a cool shot....

This guy was feeding with his girlfriend....

Phil,

You are lucky that you only had 4ft of snow; the West has been cold and wet all spring with many areas running 300-500% snow water equivalent for much of May. We are running several weeks behind in the snow melt here in Northern Utah.

Al Hansen in NM has had the other issue, VERY DRY!! In April much of the central part on NM and the Rio Grande was below 10% snow water equivalent.

I imagine you did not have to many pilgrims in the park as it has been so cold.
