Bear fat if you can get a hold of some. I have a buddy who takes bear fat and boils it down. Makes the best donuts in the world. Lard is what we use if we have no bear fat.

When i built my scaup i also had to added extrs wires when i unfolded the boat. I used a car battery and jumper cables to remove the wires. the positive end to one side of the wire and the negitave to the other just for about one second and then a pair of pliers pulled them right through. alot...
