Have you ever noticed the color similarities with the King Penguin and King Eider? Any of those colors have anything to do with the "King" in both their names?

Great shots Bill, that one appear to be male or female to you? Can't tell the size in those photos, the one Brian shot photos of is a male no doubt. Do you see them more along breaks in habitat? Such as pine/hardwoods, swamps/timber, thickets/mature woods, etc..

I have always enjoyed reptiles, and used to enjoy catching many different types throughout the United States. I have had many types as pets and have a python myself right now. But they all have their place and any invasive specie is bad news for local wildlife.

I really enjoy hearing them. It hasn't been too many years ago and just hearing or seeing one was a very rare sight. Recently I have seen more of them than ducks. Does anyone have any information of Sandhills as far as population estimates? One day a few years ago I had a group of 500 or so come...

Have had times like that here too Carl. But a mixture of ducks, not just Ringnecks. Although there were times we could have limited out on Ringnecks but chose not to. But I can't say I have seen that amount of ducks come in at one time, I thought it was amazing. From the looks and sound of...

I decided to paint up some hen Bluebills and change them into drake Goldeneyes. I did one up real quick but can't get a crisp line like I would like due to the texture of the decoy. Is there any certain type of brush I could use to get a crisper line than I have on this one by chance?

LOL, that's pretty cool. Can't say I have ever seen anything like that. Would be cool to set up something like that around a good duck hunting hole. Would be nice to go to sleep, wake up in the morning and be able to shoot out the windows .... LOL.
