and more pancakes.
I have been trying to get these turkeys to wander over by the maple trees and today it happened...sort of.
Two jakes crossed the still frozen pond to mess with the other jakes who had just come out of the woods...looked like a bunch of grade school kids pushing and shoving. Eventually they moseyed over by the buckets.
These guys are tiny compared to the other two who held their ground under the apple trees, heads held high as they watch the youngsters across the pond. I am guessing they are eating seeds from last years apples or maybe some tasty invertebrate has emerged in this warm weather.
I really wish my camera and skills could capture these images the way some of you guys are able to do. The changing feather colors in the morning sun were awesome
