    Is Alabama alone in this?

My opinion on crows is if I have a gun in my hand and one gets close enough to kill I'm not looking at a calendar first.

    Is Alabama alone in this?

Honestly didn't really think about that. I'll have to dig around and see if I have some. And for the record it won't be because I'm bored it will be because it sounds fun and I just like to shoot stuff! :ROFLMAO:

Man I seriously thought about breaking out the old single shot .410 on the carpenter bees this spring.

In VA crow season runs from mid August to mid March I believe. You can only hunt Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat, or at least that's what it use to be. NC was a similar season I think, Wed thru Sat. Shot them a few times with a e caller. Fast as you could load the gun until they wised up. I'd like to go...

    Lee Harker memories

If anybody has pictures of his decoys post them up. I'd like to see some of his work.

    Old Decoy

One of my old hunting partners and good friend now deceased was born and raised on Lee Dudleys old farm. It was a private club at the time that his daddy ran and he ran after his daddy passed until it was bought by the government in the 80s. He also had a bush blind that was located where Lee's...

    Old Decoy

A quick seach on the Google found a decoy by a Richard J Kach with a virtually identical Kach carved in the bottom. I didn't find any real information other than something that said he was from Connecticut, however I did not try very hard.

    Old Decoy

It's considered "modern" because Lee Dudley has been dead for over 80 years. This is a picture of an actual Dudley ruddy. FWIW the last one I know of to go to auction sold for something like $240,000, give or take $20-30,000.

How to fix? (Wood Working Related)

I agree 100%. Do not paint that walnut!! That wood is way to pretty to cover up.

    Swan decoy floaters?

Probably because they've only been used 3 times and that picture was taken before they were even rigged. If I hunted them much I have no doubt they'd be beat up. I'm sure they've got a few battle marks on them now. I'm not easy on anything I own.

    Swan decoy floaters?

Yeah I posted that picture or at least one of those same 3 decoys. Probably one of my first posts here.
