hey brain trust, I just bought an old probably 1940's dux back off of ebay recently, the older canvas style. Do you have any recommendations to condition and waterproof it? its still in great shape just want to get its flexibility back. thanks guys

noah, this boat wasnt in lewes delaware was it? I took a look at one that seemed to good to be true but when i saw some floor patches i decided to pass. I hate to see this when someone puts there hard earned money out there but you will learn quite a bit and those lessons are never free.

we run Swan V-boards on the grass flats of the chesapeake bay. They dont take up a ton of room and show up for miles

This is how I framed it out although not sure it's the best. The piece of cedar will be replaced prior to epoxy sealing I had to try a few times to get the curves where I wanted them. The front will be a small anchor locker with a black hatch door. I'm thinking of grabbing more mahogany decking...
