Way to go Anthony. I agree with your statement.

Maine built Merrymeeting Bay scull / sneak boat. 17’ long. Fiberglass over oak, cedar and plywood construction. Has transom mount for outboard. Includes blind not shown. Needs a little love but is in use currently.
$2000or Best offer.
Trailer and outboard not included.

Check this place out. Not duck boats but plenty of ideas for aluminum boats.
I have a duckwater and they are nothing more than a deep entry transitioning to nearly flat at the transom.

I’m not sure if they have a bag that will suit your needs, but they are extremely well built and durable. Lots of tradesmen like myself swear by them. Unfortunately they are not cheap but worth the money.

Rod ,
Thanks for the input. I have been searching for some with similar bodies but no luck yet. The heads are very well detailed and i have a few with different poses . I feel very lucky to have found such a nice rig.
Vince,
Thanks for the reply. I agree very similar to Kelson. They look like they will float and ride great. I would love to hunt over them, we just don’t see any canvasbacks in CT.
Hi All,
Just picked up some canvasback decoys and am hoping someone here can help identify the maker/manufacturer. I believe they are balsa wood. I was told by the seller that they came from the Great Lakes region and were from the sixties. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Nick,
I would suggest Bill Embacher. He is a member on this site and a great guy. You can find him on Facebook and see his work. And as an added bonus he is in CT.
