Yes they are not too common the South Bay is more readily available. My dad has a tdb 14 classic we hunted two guys and a dog no problem sometimes three guys and a dog that’s when it got tight. I’m getting the puppy from Bob Owens at Lone duck outfitters in Syracuse.

I hunt a Bauer with two guys great… getting a dog next month so next season I’ll hunt the dog with just me in the boat and two guys I’ll put her in a blind on the stern, hope this helps.

I’ve used Boss 16ga ammo in my Ithaca pump for ducks and geese works great if that helps.

Sitka waders are phenomenal definitely worth the money if you’re an avid waterfowler. If you’re unsure about breathable vs neoprene go breathable 100%.

Congrats that’s a beautiful buck! So far I’ve been fortunate enough to take a doe and a 10 point with my bow and an old 6 point with the gun. Few more doe tags to fill and the freezer will be packed for the year.

A piece of rebar with some paracord works fine to stake it to the marsh you don’t need anything fancy, just leave some slack in the line. If you’re anchoring the Jon boat in a deeper channel within the marsh just use your regular anchor.
