Great, another toy to buy, use once and forget about. Half the reason i hunt ducks is to get the dog some action. When ducks are scarce, the dog is the only reason to go.

Now if they make one that will fetch my empties, or deliver food or ammo from the tender to a layout boat, that might be cool.
 
I imagine there are some states that this device will be illegal, based on their current "electronic devices" laws. I could be wrong. Many states have already banned drones for hunting.

I just saw this and was going to post it knowing how many fokks here will be rushing out to buy one. Wonder if spinning wings could be added so only one toy needed to be brought along.

Wonder what it is going to cost.

I've been looking at this myself. I built a floating net similar to a pool soccer net and pulled it with a radio controlled boat. It worked in open water if there was little current but in any kind of wadable water it would just hang up. You need some weighted netting on the rear or the boat just pulls it over the duck.
I have better luck with a 1" dowel with treble hooks. But word to the wise, make sure you have a current fishing license when using it. Mr. Green jeans doesn't differentiate between a retrieving device and a Musky plug!

Not coming to mine. Been seeing ads for it though.
 
I was looking at the ad for a photo. Am I missing it?

The " no dog, no problem" statement is nonsense for most hunters. Is this thing going to sniff out a bird in cattails? Or dive to grab a cripple?

Wait, I forgot myself for a moment. This thing is a toy, it must be acquired just for the heck of it. I probably can't resist. :D
 
I always thought about taking a remote boat and cutting off a decoy to cover it, adding some type of finger or fork to push the bird back to the bank. Never did it. Sounds like someone took it to the next level.
