Ducks Unlimited extends its sincere gratitude to the more than 219,000 individuals who responded to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s request for information on the rule that protects wetland easements in the Prairie Pothole region. They asked for our opinions, and you answered!
Your overwhelming response sent a clear and unmistakable message: conserving vital waterfowl habitat remains a priority for America’s hunters, conservationists, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Because of your positive, thoughtful engagement, these critical landscapes in North America's most productive duck breeding and migration regions will continue to receive the protection they deserve, and that you and all duck stamp holders paid for.
