    Ureaduck Decoys

Thinking of picking up some of their Sea Ducks and Brant in the Pamlico Sounder Super Magnum size. I talked to the owner of the company and he seems to be a stand up guy who cares about the product he puts out. Anybody use them? http://www.ureaduck.com/pamlico_sounders.htm

Doing away with the plastic myself. Going burlapped foam or restle coated foam. Like was said above, I think they ride better than plastic.

    Makin' some Decoys!

If you had anybody but Naco as an avatar I could tell you! LOLOLOLOL! I ordered them from IASCO, shipping from MN to PA was $45.00 Which made 25lbs cost me $114.00 total. Wish I had somewhere more local. I'm going to experiment with some heads first to get it right.

    Makin' some Decoys!

My grandfather worked in a foundary and made them himself. I believe he used the old Herters 72 diver with the internal (flush) weight and the Brant (81?)from the same era. I have the Bluebill (diver) head mold as well as the Canvasback head mold. Still trying to find the Brant head mold. Also...
