I was distracted by several hundred Brant getting up. Given the scrapes along the hull and damage to the lower unit, I think I ran it over. About 40 years of running small boats without an accident previous to this. Facepalm

A moments inattention while heading out in the dark and I smakcked a floating navigation marker.

Major delamination to the bow as well as two small holes. More minor damage to the rest of the hull. Thankful for no injuries.

I just use the Ducks Unlimited app sunrise sunset part when I get to whatever ramp I?m launching at and set the appropriate alarm. The app will give you a countdown to either end of shooting light depending on which is closer

SJ, this is great information, thank you! I have a lot of experience with small boats So I?m reasonably confident in being able to stay safe in it. As far as ?knock off? hulls, lol most hull designs are so I?m comfortable with that. The walk on bow sounds rather nice for getting in and out
