    Who makes model duck boats?

your looking for a model maker. That was kind of what I thought, but I have never seen anything like that done in anything other than RC stuff.

    Who makes model duck boats?

if you are talking about duck boats, I've carved a few layout boats years and years ago. I guess it's not exactly a model boat you build, but it's about a 15 inch carving. Waves and boat are one piece, hunter is separate and decoys are separate.

    What's on your workbench? July

what I don't like about the heat is it's not cooling off at night, usually I can get up early and let some 50 degree air in the shop, it's only been in the upper 60's and 70's for over a month. I've had two frosts on my garden since the middle of may and now everything is burning up, hard to...

    What's on your workbench? July

I finally finished something. Today is the first time in I don't know how many weeks it's that it's been under 100 degrees. I brought what I could into the house to hand paint. It looks like it may even be in the 60's in the morning so maybe I can get something done although the air quality...

    Tipper/ Duck Butt

I don't make them very often, but this is my version of a keel less feeding decoy. the balance weight is sand inside the bottom couple of inches below that glue line.

    You can, you cannot

I'm kind of surprised that all the talk is about how ducks taste. For me, how I eat them has nothing to do with why I duck hunt. I'll buy a chicken if I'm wanting to eat a bird. It's way easier to cook and WAY less expensive. Duck hunting for me is all about dynamic decoying, the experience...

    The foamer urn.

I didn't pioneer the carved foamer process, the first time I heard of it was in 2003. I had experience with molded foam decoys, but had never seen anything like a carved and burlapped decoy. The first ones I made were pretty crude and didn't hold up as well as I wanted and wouldn't hold the...
