Why don't we shoot hawks anymore?

I'll relate some experience ...although old..pre act. When I was a youngster at home I raised pigeons. Had about 75 to 100 and they were allowed out during the day. I had a GHO that figured out that they sat on the loft roof right at dusk before slipping inside for the night and I'd close them...

Looks fun. Is that bench the fellow is setting on a knock down portable or a solid shop tool? Interesting bench.

WOW, with that frame work up it looks bigger! Very strange as usually every time you complete a task after the stakes are driven into the ground it looks smaller.....Very nice build. BradF

    My tool! I broke it!

Chuck I still haven't found mine. :-( So I have been looking at this style of plier and see they come in many sizes. For your use what size do you prefer? Maybe I can narrow my search criteria when I finally give up looking for my lost pair? Brad F

    ID this fiberglass duck boat?

Defently not the "Outlaw" copy. They are much blunter. I have had several of the Outlaws over the years. Still have one and know of 4 others. None are similar to the pictured boat.

    outboard mtr weight help

Thank you. When I was packing them around that 15 sure seemed like more than 5 lbs heavier than gthe 9.5 but........I guess it must have been the balance point? Thanks again for the information. I'll get them both checked out and tuned up and then see how they function on the boat.

    outboard mtr weight help

Thanks folks. That 15hp sure seemed like it was more than 18 lbs heavier but then I guess that would be roughly 25% increase in weight?

    outboard mtr weight help

So I am getting a couple of older OB's going. A 1966 9.5hp Evenrude and a 1974 15hp Johnson. The 9.5 was my Grandpa's and I bought it from his estate years ago with his 12 ft. Hewescraft. I used it for years before going on to bigger outfits but never got rid of it. I have the owners manual for...

I don't think I can bring myself to make another post...

I only met Lee 3 times and the first was at WL. I was a newbie there and he and fellow MLB guy Chuck Crump made me feel like a brother....best people I met that year. I can tell you that he would say as stated above.....post up and get over it. He was a no nonsense guy and he would never think...
