How was everyone dealing with this virus scare?

Here in Spokane(Eastern WA State) we?ve been laying low. Retired like Dave so we can easily stay home. Our medical appointments in the near future have been rescheduled for later this summer by our providers. We keep a supply of essentials on hand as I was raised that way...raised a county boy...

    Thieves

As a note ..........I?ve been retired for over 20 years but back when I was working as a PD Detective our records dept was more than a year behind in data entry into the state system of stolen items. Some categories of stolen items (guns being one) were mandated priority into NCIC. My stolen...

    Kodiak trip

Very nice Ben. I enjoyed your adventure! I?ve been to Alaska twice. Once duck hunting (great trip) and then a few weeks ago with my wife as a tourist. Very beautiful. We also experienced the hot dry weather which hampered our ability to view much wildlife. The bonus was fantastic views of the...

    Music Appreciation

I listen to music, classic country, but I can name few of the musicians. I?ve only been to 2 concerts in my lifetime, both country. I listen to it because I can still understand most of the words and when listening I don?t hear the ringing in my ears as much. ;-)

    I?m confused and unhappy

I thought this site was about duck boats, decoys and waterfowl hunting and history. Enough of the political crap or you will be driving a wedge between the members of this last internet duck forum.

Vintage Dobrosky Photos - Jersey Sneakbox Gunning

My goodness look at the barrel length of the gun on that last photo of the gunner in the pit. Being in inlander my whole life and not from a waterfowling family I?m always intrigued by these period photos. Thanks for sharing.

    20 shells ????

No George we havent forgotten but.......both OR and WA are now controlled by the large population centers on the I-5 corridor. Even if the whole of the rest of the state population could band together it is barely a majority (in WA anyway). We are just screwed. It?s just a matter of time.

Beautiful decoys. I?ve stalled in my endeavors as I have several on the bench in various stages. Anyway I got the bug, made some and used them. Great experience.

    Disc sander help...

I use a propane torch on the sand side starting on one edge. Use a putty knife to get an edge loose then pull on that while heating on the sand paper as you go. Should pull right off if you go slow and heat as necessary. I?ve used that on the PSA type as well as the type that you use the glue...

    duckboats.net funds running low

I give an annual donation every January but another was sent via PayPal just now. This site has always been the best of all the internet sites and is now one of the few left for those of use that choose not to partake in social media. Step up if you are able!

    Transporting of ducks

I?ve seen this answered with the question ?where do you vote?? That?s your permnant residence. When I?m away from my ?home/permanent residence/where I vote? I follow the rules as far as the specie ID requirements and possession limits. That?s my take on it but I?m not a game warden nor lawyer.

taking care of wood working tools

Sorry for the multi posts but I couldn't figure out how to post picture to a text reply?? Anyway, I used those products on the bed of a 40's vintage Wallace jointer about 8 years ago. About 5 years ago I got a stronger jointer so the Wallace sets in the shop as a shelf. There has been a...
