Brad and Dave:
Civil discourse
IF I understand your logic...
We can discuss fishing, as long as we don't discuss fishing management issues decision making or analysis of a fishery's direction or stock declines.
We can and have discussed gun laws that are pending, or being considered, sponsored etc., as long as they are criticized and ridiculed.
We can apparently discuss, and have discussed environmental regulations at the State and National level as long as the source and driver of those regulations and the underlying motivation(s) are not mentioned or identified.
We can discuss environmental disasters like an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, extensive flooding, earth quakes, etc. at length, as well as the cost and extent of environmental damage and the follow-up clean-up as long as we stop short of any longterm political implications...
We can discuss oil lease development in coastal areas as long as we don't mention what coastlines were excluded...
We can discuss and have discussed gold mines, coal mining, oil drilling, as well as land use law alterations at the State and Federal level, but not the motivating politics or industry financing and lobbying driving these initiatives.
We can and have discussed pending alterations to the Clean Water Act that would eliminate roughly 60% of federal oversight of these water courses and the protections afforded; apparently, as long as we don't touch on who is pushing for those changes and why.
We can and have discussed alterations to environmental laws and regulations originating from executive orders, as long as we stop short of identifying who signed these into law.
Are any of these directly duck boat or duck hunting related?
Where do you guys feel that the First Amendment should be restrained in its language and intent, particularly when you have not only the personal right, but the ability to not read or click on the thread? NDR stands for?
Yes, Dave I understand full-well that you don't care for me. I discerned that some time ago.
Freedom of choice and expression...interesting concept, as well as a Bill of Rights guarantee. Apparently something that you feel should be excluded from this website.
Sadly, I suspect we are at a cross-roads where the future of the Republic is at stake...I sincerely hope that I am wrong.
