    Got her all dressed,

Looks awesome. I love my bluebill so much that it is tempting to build a bigger boat as well, but the cost is just too great to justify when the lund works fine....

    Laminated plywod vs lumber

Tom S just used plywood and heated it into place. I used lumber for mine. You can get as expensive or as cheap as you want. I used mahogany but if youre willing to putz I wouldn't hesitate to go the plywood route.

Natural "camo" that isn't salt hay?

Do any of you northerners (Minnesota) use natural shtuff on the boat blind? Cattails work well on stationary blinds, but I cant imagine they'd do well with being rolled up or trailered etc. I need to touch up the blinds on both boats. I'll use whatever I can get my hands on, but curious if...

    Choke tube sets

I really like my trulock - I have an IM and a LM, depending on the day - usually the LM for geese and the IM for ducks. I like them to be dead or flying away unharmed.

    Honker progress...

Id personally get a Yamaha then. 70/90 should do nicely on that hull. 70 will be plenty, I think.

    Honker progress...

two stroke 90/75. are you going used or new? I like old stuff - you can work on it yourself for simple things, and there are lots of good mechanics around if you have a more complex issue at hand. parts are cheap, etc. 90s era outboards or 2000s non fuel injected. either that or brand...

    Layers of Madness!

Having thoroughly enjoyed hunting (successfully, for the first time) deer last year, and having a free lease where we are allowed to build stands/do whatever we want as long as we don't muck up the hay and (this year) corn fields - It's only adding another layer of madness to fall and the...

    Food Plot Work

It's good to work hard, glad you are instilling this in the kids. looks like a fun place to hunt, especially when you've put all the hard work in yourself to make it what it is. I hope to someday own a property I can do this sort of stuff on - problem is, I like diver ducks too much...

You have got to be kidding me. Is there ANYTHING that you don't have stored up somewhere in the garage or under the porch? FOR PETES SAKE. I'll be calling!

    Flapper board hinges?

Thank you steve, exactly what I was looking for! Looks like I'll be busy again making changes this year, as usual!! I gotta admit though, I much prefer hunting out of the Evalyn Grace until the ice is too thick for the big boat. Sneak boats are just too much fun - I can't wait to get...

    Flapper board hinges?

For those of you who've made the flapper "doors" as a blind on your sneak boats, how did you hinge them effectively? Looking for a few ideas before I start the project in a month or so...

That's great. Our landowner planted 60 acres of corn this year in some of the smaller hayfields. :O

We use the super mega oversize huge flambeau goose floater/shells and love them. we will have 37 out on the water, not to mention the regular size dekes. I can't wait for early goose.
