    Duck Sausage Recipe??????

You'll have to adjust the amounts of ingredients according to how much meat you'll use. Although the recipe mentions putting it in casings, I did not do this. I put it into serving size bags, vacuum sealed them and then froze the sausage. I was pretty pleased. Duck Sausage 4 lbs...

Question for the New England guys...

Hi Bill, Glad to hear you are doing well. It is amazing how stent technology has evolved since I've been practicing. When I was in college, my best friend had a munsterlander, and it was an amazing all purpose dog. They hunted grouse over it quite a bit, but it was an amazing retriever...

I have been wanting to try some grilled lobsters. I searched on the internet, and there are a large number of places to order, but was wondering if someone else had some personal advice. This is the one dealer I was most interested in dealing with. Are these prices in line? I've never had...

    wooden? longline storage advice

Are y'all a burnt up piece of toast in AL? Man, it's been HOT!! I have a good friend that I hunt with every year from PA who made a fixed compartment for decoys and long lines in the front half of the boat. He keeps his decoys permanently attached to the lines and 12 birds to a string...

    Question for Bill Wasson...

Hi Scott, Hope you are doing well. It is a polyester braid around a solid poly core. That is the kicker. Everything that I found online, doesn't have the core, or I don't know what I am looking for. That line is perfect for what I want to do this year, because it doesn't have any...

    Source for gill nets

Pete, It is a small world!! That was one of my original boats when I got my rig. That boat has a lot of good JuJu!!! I'll be honest,... we used them and didn't look at them!!! Glad to hear that it is still being used. They are comfy boats. Best, Steve

    Source for gill nets

John, Definitely could, but folks who have done this have said that larger mesh size will tangle. With a 5" or 6" size mesh, the decoys could spin through and then tangle. Rich, It is always dangerous when I think.......... Steve

    Source for gill nets

More info on what I am trying to do... I would like to try making a "net rig" of decoys. Basically take a 10'x10' or 20'x20' piece of netting, and mend head lines on each side. Then attach ~50 decoys on the net to make a blob of birds. From what I've read gill nets may not be the best...

I'd like to try a net rig this year. I am searching for 1/2" gill netting in nylon. Everything that I have found online in that size is monofilament. Does anyone on the coasts have any sources for nylon gill nets? Thanks in advance, Steve

    Need some advice...

I am planning on doing a pig roast for the 4th of July. I have access to a large mobile pit and will be able to do a 50 lb dressed pig -- butterflied. I've never done one like this before (only by rotisserie). I've searched on the internet, and most of the information is pretty...

    Hey, Keith Mueller...

How goes it!! We need to catch up sometime. How long did you wait between coats of Ronans? Although it drys quick, it needs a full day to cure before covering. Not sure if that was the problem or not. Best, Steve
