    NDR- Swan push toy

Some may recall the rocking geese that I made in 2022 for both grandsons born in 2021. We were again double blessed in 2023 with 2 granddaughters. Not wanting to burden their parents with yet another large item just yet (baby cradles, doll houses will eventually come). I decided to make them...

NDR - Truck Bed Winch implemented

I spent the week noodling this plan through and executed this weekend. Saturday, after helping a church member move in the morning, I picked through a pile of rough cut oak and selected a board. I spent the evening planning and sizing it. Today after church, I stopped at Harbor Freight, and...

    ISO: McCormick Decoys

The challenge is finding actual McCormick decoys! He was so generous with his time and talents that there are so many decoys that are obvious McCormick style, but made by every LI duck hunter of the time! I have a few with his signature, but some that are not signed and may or may not be his.

NDR - Truck Bed Winch implemented

I think the rail is a better plan. I already have a pr of Eye Bolts that I drilled through the cap and rails that can be utilized to control forward travel, and a pair of clamps can be easily added to keep it from rotating under load. I will post as I pull it together.

NDR - Truck Bed Winch implemented

As I am getting older, and my circle is getting smaller, I am finding that I need to be more self-sufficient. A couple yrs ago, I invested in the receiver hitch hydraulic lift to pick outboards on and off without a hernia. Now I am noodling out a bed winch set up. Last night I picked up a...

The New Project After The Other Project... 1984 Aeromarine Sneakboat

How and Steve and Susan doing? Has he moved the Blackjack into the queue yet? Curious what he will do with that hull.

    Should this boat be saved?

If the price of the hull is not free, I would pass. It certainly can be fixed, but in solid condition about a $1000 hull. Epoxy, glass and paint will get you close to halfway there.
