    Eider Rig Construction

Since this is by far the most work I've ever put into a decoy rig, I thought it might be cool to document and share it here. The rig is for 24 "E-Allen sized" common eider, with one lifesized king eider drake, Stellers eider drake, and Spectacled Eider drake, to be completed in two parts. I'm...

    NDR- Boat build question

So I bought the tolman book this morning, i will give it a read through before making a final decision, but now I'm leaning that way. I do love the Pointer, but might be a bit much of an undertaking both financially and time wise at this point. No doubt I will build one in the future though as I...

    NDR- Boat build question

Thanks Robert and Steve, kind of what I was already thinking so I guess I have my answer. Tod, I have looked at the tolmans, third choice actually if I'm ranking. I can't really give an answer for not going that way outside of I like the lines of the other two better....maybe someday, who knows.

    NDR- Boat build question

After selling my TDB and spending the past couple months looking for a fishing boat for the family (laugh it up youngsters), I've decided after years of dreaming of building a big boat, that I would take the next couple years, and money from the TDB to do so. SO after more hours than I care to...

    Conservation oriented banquets....

Personally, as far as CWA, typically the date is conflicting for me. It often falls on the closest sunday to my fathers birthday (april 5), so most often that takes priority. This year it did not, but I had my daughter for the day (wife works weekends) and we burn our babysitting time during the...

    NDR: Bobcat pics

Thought you guys might enjoy these bobcat pics I took yesterday while shed hunting. He (she?, I'm not very educated on cats), stayed within 25-35 yards of me for about 15 minutes. Eerie but really cool!
