May as well get some 220 in there while you're doing the subpanel.

I Am Content With My Fleet, But I Wish I Had Bought....

For what it's worth, not only do seasons change but they also sometimes change back. Put the boats and stuff away for a few years before you decide to rid yourself of them. What re-lights a fire can come out of nowhere, and given how much this passion has obviously meant to you over the years...

    Lighting shop with track lighting...

Oh wow, very cool!! Given the restrictions you're dealing with, if your ceiling is white I'd get a set of the LEDs and mount them temporarily on the walls angled upward and inward. You might find that the reflected light works for you.

    Lighting shop with track lighting...

Depends on your workspace and tool placement. If around the walls like your miter saw, perimeter lighting will be perfect (oriented downward not horizontal). And with white ceilings/walls you'd get good reflective light. In fact, good, bright LEDs along the wall and oriented more upward to...

I don't normally post my jack-legged efforts, but having learned you have plenty of redneck in you, too, I will. I needed to quickly increase light in my garage for a project, so took out the halogens and added these LED strips. I keep meaning to get back up there and do a clean install of...

How to fix? (Wood Working Related)

Or take the boatbuilders approach - fillets and paint! I agree with others that it looks great and you don't really need to do anything... but I share your builder's curse of wanting to make things perfect.

    2025 Devlin Snow Goose Thread

Not much of an update, but got my keel, runners, and sheer clamps scarfed together and keel dry fit this weekend... and marked the location for the runners. Today I built up th slightly low section near the rear where I had a slight hook - decided to do this with glass to lessen the fairing...

    12v Car Fridge/Freezer?

I have one - from IceCo. Bought it for a long hunting road trip to S Texas. Also have their small companion battery. For the 10 days, the icebox was always plugged into the battery, which remained plugged into a 12v outlet. Thus the running vehicle ran the icebox but when shut off the...

How to fix? (Wood Working Related)

Planing further wouldn't have made any real difference. As Dave stated, any bearing (riding inside the frame) would leave some flat spot.

How to fix? (Wood Working Related)

Just get out a small file and some sandpaper. Will take a little time given the number of joints, but you can get it where you want it. Looks great, by the way!

Several others responded before I do so let them pick first if interested... but I'd be interested in the 2 on decoys if they aren't. Henry

Field and Stream article that might be of interest

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. I'm afraid there are going to be lots of unintended consequences of current cost-cutting activities - regardless of whether I agree we need to lower government spending.

    There any golfers here?

Kind of you to think of the old geezers. Truthfully, I'm not an old geezer, yet... I just act like one.
