    MLB Classic Riggin

i just tied a rope from one eye to the other on the back of the boat then my anchor line has a brass clip on the end with a crab float before it. I just clip onto the line so it slides along that line as the wind pushes it around. Seems to work well for a quick solution.

    carving tool question

im looking to buy one of those motorized carving tools, they look like a dremel but they run off a motor that hangs up and has a cylindrical shape. Ive seen many people carving decoy heads with them but i dont know what they are called. Im looking for a dependable brand but certainly not top of...

    opening day coastal

Coastal NC is notorious for this mess, i have had times where i wanted to give it up all together because the competition and ignorance of other people make it not even enjoyable anymore. I have been up to cape may and hunted the bay with a friend of mine thats from there and i will have to...

    Tred Barta

Tred Barta.. haha. I would have to say i can share alot of your opinions on this man. His over confidence is what really makes me think of him as arrogant (the line ive caught more tuna then any man alive in his show intro comes to mind) Im just a very humble person when it comes to hunting and...

    Herters Decoys Still Available?

In what way are GHG superior to herters foams i would like to ask? Maybe they look better when you take them out of the box but if you can paint at all then you can solve that problem and i would like to see a GHG decoy in 20 years... a herters will hunt as well as the day it came out of...

    Armstrong Broadbill Re-Build

Yep this is exactly how it was when i got it. I took it out and drove it in its current condition and water would actually spray into the boat from under the lip and i knew right off the bat i was going to have to seal it and glass it to make it one piece b/c that would drive me crazy. I really...

    Armstrong Broadbill Re-Build

    Armstrong Broadbill Re-Build

on the next coat i tried adding in a tint of gray powder into the epoxy and it would have worked except for the fact that it was raining and the humidity was so high it began to discolor as it dried (all the moisture it had soaked up in the air while curing came out) oh well you live and learn...

    Herters Decoys Still Available?

This is the reason i like them so much.. more like an investment then anything. Sure i dont think they look as lifelike as some of the GHG models available but when your talking about divers and seaducks and decoys that need to take some shot and still perform you cant compare. I hope to one day...

    Herters Decoys Still Available?

if anyones got some old model 72's they would like to sell then let me know. I dont want any high dollar perfect new in the box ones though, i plan to paint them up for seaducks and probably burlap a few as well so just the solid foam bodies of the 72s without any big holes or anything in them...

    Herters Decoys Still Available?

cabelas has sure cut down on the herters decoys that are available for sale on thier site. Are they planning to discontinue them all? I called them about purchasing some blanks a while back and they told me they dont do that anymore. The prices have gotten ridiculous as well. I sure miss them...
