    bb3 with Grizzly Grip added

Is that stuff shiney? What do you think about a full paint job in Grey on the Devlin Snowgoose. I am sure it will add some weight, but also will add to abrasion protection and additional grip for me and the pooch. I just want to make sure it is not shiney. David

Sure sign spring is just around the corner....

Capt Jack. I just wanted to say hi. I come out east regularly. Maybe we can hook up in the summer. I know Nappeague fairly well. I have friends out east and I come to surf cast often. I keep my little Devlin Snowgoose at the Lobster Inn. Just wanted to say hi to a local. David

    Preferred diver decoy size??

Is there a reason not to mix sizes up. Lets say I have a bunch of lifesize decoys and a handfull of super jumbos. Is there a reason not to mix them. Will it look weird and spook the birds? If I do mix them up, where do you think the jumbos should be placed? On the outside or in close?

    For my buddies...

I just took a look at the auction site. Holy moley. That is some big bucks for a used decoy. For that kind of money, I would prefer to have a decoy without a crack in it. Does he still make decoys? All I can say is wow. David

Those are some really nice looking decoys there. Who is Jim? He can come hunting with me anytime. That is if he brings those blocks. Stern

    Cabela's-Herters\Restle.

I think that if anyone is interested, they should email the company and ask for just the blanks to be put back into production. That way they have fewer oine items that they have to stock. Makes it an easier business choice for them. Just a suggestion. Could work if enough people try. Sterny

    Building transom for my Aquapod

OK. I think you guys convinced me to drop the project. I just feel bad for this little 3hp sitting in the shed with no boat to push. Would it work at all as a backup for my snowgoose.Or is it too small. That is if I can get it down far enough on the transom. I think my snowgoose is a 20" and...

    Building transom for my Aquapod

Thanks guys. I will proceed with caution. Is it the hp that is a concern or all of weight in the stern? This is a 12 ft pod and I would be putting a tiller extention on it. If it is the HP that is of concern than what would a 44# thrust electric convert into for hp? Stern

    Building transom for my Aquapod

John: Just another fun summer project. I was thinking of using it when we just wanted to launch from the bank. If we have the blinds in the marsh already, I thought we could just put put to the spot and be done. No ramp bs. Stern

    Building transom for my Aquapod

Good advice guys. A couple of more facts. My Aquapod is a 12 footer, which puts more weight forward. Also, I do not know if it is a 4hp or 3hp. I forget. I plan on using this to push me and my dog or me and a friend in sheltered waters. I know of someone who runs a mudmotor on the back of...

    Building transom for my Aquapod

Great advice. So the 6" to 8" mark is what I am looking for? Is that the measurement at the hub or the top of the blade or the cav plate? Sterny

    Building transom for my Aquapod

Off season project. I have a old 4hp with the weedgaurd prop (Slightly turned down) that I want to put on the back of my aquapod. The question is where should the prop be in proportion to the hull. I know in a regular boat the cav plate should be even or a little high to the bottom of the hull...

    Geese Strike Back!

The pilot did a great job, but the real heros were the watermen who came to the rescue within 5 minutes of touching down. Without them, there surely would have been much greater injuries and possibly fatalities. Private company watermen were first on the scene. The police arrived well into the...
