    Dealer rigging for warranty???

Don,t know about your dealer but rigging was built into price of motor I had installed on my 16 ' jon. Partly so boats wired right but also to make sure motors propped right and at right height for best hole shot. And even though my boats aluminum they did use a product, probably 4200 on bolts...

Well that didn't go like it was supposed to... motor trouble question?!?!?!?!

In that size motor a Merc & a Tohatsu are basically the same motor. Tohatsu,s may have an advantage in available gearing. I,ve got a 25 Tohatsu on my 16" jon and its been a great motor so far. But Tohatsu builds Mercs up to I believe 60 H.P. They also built or did recently the larger Honda,s.

    Trying to ID a duckboat.

Exact shape hull I had but originally mine had a lot of metal trim and bracing. After the redo w/new transom and metal bracing & seats removed I ran a 15 h.p. 2 stroke Merc on it because that was what I had. Handled motor fine but you needed dogs weight in the bow to keep it down . Motor...

    Trying to ID a duckboat.

Would like to see photos. The one I salvaged and redid years ago sounded like what your describing. I removed all the metal bracing and trim and opened it up with no seats when redoing. Friend who redid it for me made a mold off it and sold a few hulls locally.

    Cleaning Double Guns

I,ve been using CLP Cleaner / Lubricant for many years and loving it. And usually available at Walmarts in my area so I don,t have to search for it. As far as actual cleaning i,ve used everything from submersion in K1 kerosene and brushing to spray gun cleaner and brake cleaner. All works. A air...

    Trailer tires

Measuring is a good a way as any for proper axle alignment. I would think both tires would show drag wear though from axle not aligned. But in that short a time period axle not aligned would be my best guess.

    Cleaning Double Guns

Remove buttstock and clean, lube. But if your gun is constantly getting soaked in rain or you take it for a swim your probably better doing what your presently doing. Save the break action guns for dryer days afield. It really does take sitting in heavy rain or a dunk to reach inside stock to...

    Handloads.

I,ve been hand loading 3" 20 gauge Bismuth 3, & 4,s past 3 years for waterfowl. I Do occasionally load other lead hunting loads for 20. Got a 28 gauge on order. May have to set up a Mec 600 for that gauge instead of paying out the nose for shells.

    Fuel line bulb

The Mercury Factory Bulbs I have on my 15 Merc tank stay fairly flexible. Factory branded from boat motor manufactures is what your after, not a Walmart Bulb.

    The runaround.

Might want to put him on a check cord when throwing bumpers. You sure don,t want to promote that type of retrieve. Make sure you can control outcome of your commands.

    Tomorrow is the day

When young when training my pups to jump up into trk. bed to enter dog bx. if they're reluctant I've just used chunks of hot dog to entice them . Let them smell it then place in location you want them to go. I use load command at same time. You may be able to adapt that to your situation.

    Refinishing your duck gun

I,ve used Tarjac in New York a few times to dip shotguns. Excellent work. At one time they did the dipping of factory Benelli,s.

    AA Broadbill

That was where the Black Jack initially started. Early ads they were targeting flats fisherman as well as hunters. The little flat area at front edge of cockpit surround was there to mount a pedestal seat base on to for sitting with feet on front deck fishing. Can,t remember if Broadbill had...

    Small spread make up.

The motion decoy or decoys , whether jerk string or battery operated will be your most important tool in the arsenal.

    First sneak boat

The most forward mount will serve you the best with less reflection off deck. Even better fab up a mount to raise light about twice the height currently available in your factory mount.
