    Just a little tip....

Upon seeing the Badger Air Brush setup for sale in the classifieds, I thought I'd throw out this little tip. Check out your local pawn shops. I bought the same setup shown in the classifieds still in the box for 60 bucks. I had asked the salesman how much and he responded $80.00. Showing my...

    Carsten's Canvasback photos

He had it parked up on the slab of cement to the left as you entered your driveway but never put it in the water. I have several pictures of Rob paddleing his boat. I couldn't believe he could manuver that thing around loaded with all his decoys and his dog. Thought he was going swimming...

I guess I am starting the build.

Which one are you building? Did the book from Mystic help any? I've switched from a march boat to a one man layout from Waterfowl-Works.com. When the weather breaks and I can clean out the garage, I'll start on it. Hope all is well up there.

    First four for the rig.

Brandon, your decoys are looking good. I went with composite board for the last dozen blue bills I made for a keel. No need for weights as the composite is quite heavy.

    decoy question

You can purchase the burlap and tile mastic used for bonding material at Home Depot. I use the mastic called Acrylpro. There is a good tutorial on burlaping at the Refuge site and at DuckhuntingChat.com.

    Merry Christmas

I also wish to apologize for the atrocious spelling in my post. I had my 1 and a 1/2 year old grandson and a 3 month old puppy sitting in the chair with me and was having to much fun to pay attention to details.

Yep, they're looking pretty old, but remember this, its better to get old, than the alternative.

    Guinness and the porcupine

I'd take a trip to the vet just in case. If a quill was in deep and broken off and undetected by you, it could work its way deeper and cause a potentually serious problem.

Dave Parks, I need MouseTrap info?

The trap can be made by simply running a 1/4 inch dia. or so dowel long enough to span a bucket thru a can, making sure the can rotates, place the ends of the dowel on the top of the bucket filled with water. Place a small amount of peanut butter on the can, when the mouse crawls onto the can...
