    Duck Wrangler/Duck Water boats

Chris, I don't know if you read the whole thread, but it is clear to me from reading that Dennis has put all the pertinent information in the thread. He is the original owner, he bought the boat new, it is only 6 years old, (2004), and the manufacturer has told him he will not stand behind his...

    Duck Wrangler/Duck Water boats

Looking at the pictures, it looks to me like random scraps of aluminum were just laid in on top of the foam before the fiberglass floor was done. Nothing appears to me to have been purposefully cut and placed.

    Duck Wrangler/Duck Water boats

If you read back through the thread, Dennis said in his original post he bought the boat new, and it is a 2004. If a company going to offer a 15 year hull warranty, they ought to stand behind it, regardless of design, material, or company name changes...

    UV paint on dekes?

I worked for Flambeau as the National Sale & Marketing Manager of the Hunting Division when they first agreed to license the technology. I dealt directly with the scientists who founded Twilight Labs, and the paint technology being marketed under the UVision name. I know more about...

    My New (First) Pup

Paul, to echo what someone else said, join a local club, be it AKC or HRC, and learn from others experience. I would also suggest a formal training program; there are several out there with video series to get you and your pup started on the correct foot and guide you through the training...

    Armstrong Broadbill Re-Build

Tom Lindheimer, who owned the Arthur Armstrong Boat Company, at the time lived in Kernersville, NC. If I recall correctly, he was originally from Florida. He raced those little hydroplanes earlier on, and supposedly the actual bottom hull design of the Broadbill and the Wigeon were from his...

    Armstrong Broadbill Re-Build

Yes Gene, I was an Armstrong dealer back in the mid to late '80s. I actually picked boats up at Tom Lindheimer's house in Kernersville, NC back then. There definitely appears to have been "inline modifications" to the boats as they went along. I think the boat I had was from '85, maybe '86 or...
