Thanks, Craig- I go to Principia College in Elsah, IL. It overlooks the Mississippi River, and is close to many hunting spots. I'm stuck trying to decide whether I should become an Illinois resident, or stay with Missouri. Both are great hunting opportunities.

It's great to see everyone's pictures and stories from their openers as I cruise around the forum and see what I've missed. Fun to see some new faces and hear some good stories. Now that i'm settled into college maybe I'll get out and hit the water this season. Good to be back- Christian...

I've successfully used chicken livers, hot dog pieces, and even bread. However I caught catfish on bread using a rod and reel, with 30 lb. test. Not sure how jugging would be different- i know that there's some stinky stuff at wal-mart people say works...

I've often found singles in Colorado, both from Elk and mule deer, but two summers ago I found two big mulie sheds right next to eachother in a field, just boom...boom... three feet away. I've also found sheds buried, and my buddy found two interlocked skulls last winter in illinois- both scored...
