    Locking Gun Rack

I think you are seeing some legalese from one of them and not the other. The last sentence is the most important, which is why it is placed there.

    Late Season Bonus

That is a nice bonus bird for northern states. We rarely see blue-wings in Jersey during the season, the first part of which starts 3rd week of October. If you go out in the marshes in September you sometimes see them before they move on. I don't think we see a lot this far east as a rule.

    Tomorrow is the day

I don't have anything specific to offer other than you have plenty of time for that dog to adjust to you and it's new life. Don't be in a hurry and try and force it because it will come in due time with kindness and encouragement.

Bye Bye Filson, Hello Tom Beckbe (RANT!)

Back to Filson. Someone made a comment about how that company had sold out. The conversation Eric recounted made me think about bots and stuff that companies use all of the time now. I don't know if that is the case, but the result was the same. It's like calling someplace and the customer...

1950 Cape May County ditch/pond box

Bob-I think you should do a boat of the month post. Tell us about each one. Keep us going almost two years.

    NDR, after season

I too did some ice fishing in north Jersey when I was a teenager. We caught beautiful yellow perch that averaged 10"s, and sometimes larger. But here in south Jersey, we rarely get the hard freeze you need to get good ice. Nothing beats panfish for eating.

    Tomorrow is the day

Remember Todd, the runt of the litter may have been fertilized later and a been few days younger than his siblings, and that may be why he was smaller at birth. Maybe one of the vets here will chime in on this. But glad to hear you have found a new dog. I wish you many happy days together.

Pacific Black Brant Hunt Humboldt Bay

We have a lot of Atlantic Brant in New Jersey along the coast in the barrier island bays, which are many and are along pretty much the entire coastal portion of the state. A large portion of the population winters here. Many on here have and/or do hunt brant in NJ. The populations change from...

    Duck/Goose Scull Boats!

There are a few scullers in my area(southern NJ) but not many. The Delaware River probably has a few people doing it still. But it is a rare thing to find out this way. But keep telling about it Mike, there are also a few scullers on here and I'm sure people will enjoy it.

Two Deaths In One Week...and something to learn about getting ready!

Good story Larry, and some good ideas for everyone. Particularly the last. I started that process in my later 50's(I'm now 66). And I thought at the time, why would I leave stuff I will never use or need laying around for someone else to clean up when I am gone? It is a continuing process. Keep...

    AA Blackjack Floor Repairs

I'm going to get this going again because I am in the middle of the same thing. Difference is, there is only one stringer in my blackjack, which is a phoenix pokeboat build. I also have a well in the back of the deck at the stern where there is a drain hole. While I don't have a photo of the...
