    Alumacraft "Ducker" square stern model??

Could it be an Aerocraft F-12? I owned one for a while and sold it recently. It had a tube in the bow and stern to pound poles into the lake bed.

Weird Tacoma 4WD Problem Nobody Can Figure Out. Can You?

Maybe a problem with the proportioning valve? I had a problem sort of like that with a 82' Honda.

    Memorial Day

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In...

    Replacing plastic with wood

Adam: This is one of those "opinion" things that nobody wins, so I'll withdraw my suggestion and give two thumbs up to your desires. As I suggested, go to a couple shows, talk to some carvers, look around and hold a few decoys.

    Replacing plastic with wood

Adam: Bump it to $100 a decoy and you could do quite well. I would guess better than carving your own. Start slow, go to shows, meet some carvers and build your rig over a period of 4 or 5 years.

    Looking for carved decoys

Jake: I rarely ever sell a decoy, but I recommend attending a few decoy shows. You meet a bunch of great guys that carve all manner of decoys. I would bet that you will find that sometimes the look of the decoy is secondary to the person that carved it. I have decoys in my rig from a couple of...

    Show me your keels!

Kevin: I will be attending the ODCCA show this year, I should be there Friday noonish. I will not have a table in the ballroom, but I will be circlating and having a great time. Please stop me and talk to me, I'll answer any questions you may have. Jerry Stateler makes the best keels, they...

    Looking for carved decoys

Jake: It would probably be a good idea to actually state a range of how much you are willing to part with for these decoys. That way you will be able to connect with someone in your comfort zone, instead feeling outraged when someone mentions an (what you may consider) obscene price.

    Black cork question

Mark: Consider drawing your pattern on paper and using 3M super 77 to spray glue it to the cork. I have all of my patterns digitized, so I print my pattens from my computer and then glue them directly to the top and side of the block. Then you have a perfect line to cut with your bandsaw. If I...

    16 Amesbury Skiff

Have you considered a Tolman Skiff? I don't think I'll ever build a boat, but if I did, this would be at the top of the list. http://www.fishyfish.com/boards/index.php

    Grayling, Mi

My wife is from St Helen, just a bit south of Grayling. Do you own a snow blower? Think 4x4 2 stage, MORE HP! Maybe think about mounting I beams in place of your bumpers, you'll fit in with the natives and it's good insurance for that sure to happen collision with an errant deer. Welcome to...

    HIN Number marking

I have a '58 Aerocraft that also did not have a HIN. I purchased a piece of 3/4" x .125 aluminum and hammered the numbers into it. Then just riveted it onto the boat. Looked professional and was easy to read.

Following up on my to do list for this season

Another item you may consider is a dye marker. It's more related to open water, but it's a perfect addition to your night strobe. I have one attached to each PFD.

NDR - I need a "one off" grey metal casting

Lou: This is small potatoes to Dave. He turns jobs away that pay more than I make in a year!
