    25 johnson help

I'm going with the air leak theory. Fuel lines are inexpensive to replace, and should be with some regularity - at least every five years or so. Nothing worse on a cold, freezing day than having a fuel line break. On the off chance replacement does not do the trick, try squeezing your fuel...

    longlines question

On Lake of the Woods where water can be 40' deep, I use a 300' braided polypropylene rope as my mother line, with net weights to hold it down so the dog can swim among the decoys on retrieves. I can motor among the decoys as well - attach 4' droppers with a loop tied at end on each decoy. I...

    mecury outboat help

Geez, Bob, that's a tough one. Something is affecting the fuel flow, apparently. Hmmm...double check hoses for leaks - air leak somewhere is about the only other possibility? Is the bulb empty after it dies? Do you have to pump the bulb to get pressure up again after it dies? How about...

    Beretta worth??

Just for kicks, checked a couple online gun sales/auction sites - found one with starting bid of $595 - off the scale/"waiting for the right buyer", duh - but it makes that price you're talkin' about shine a bit brighter yet!

    Beretta worth??

If you need a good bird gun, $250 is a helluvadeal. Check the couch for loose change first...any decent excuse for another shotgun, eh?

    Beretta worth??

In that kind of condition, $400-$450. There are just so many of these types of 20's out there - they do shoot well, and have a well-earned reputation for durability - they are soft shooters and cycle just about anything - believe they were all 3" chambers. Very nice workmanship - share many...

    mecury outboat help

If it was OMC, I'd say the fuel pump needs to be replaced, or at least rebuilt. Not familiar w/25hp Mercs though - is there an accessible fuel pump on them?

    Minnesota opener

20 miles south of Leech - low water, like a foot low, made in and out of the slough a real push. Lots of birds though...mallards, ringbills, few wood ducks, no teal.

We had a real good week end

Looks great - just opened the Minnesota season this weekend. Drizzly & windy - lots of birds Sat, but Sunday was a bit of a bust. Birds must've hunkered down in the beaver ponds and such...we're just south of Leech Lake, and found water levels inour slough down almost a foot - helluva a pole...
