    Memorable Season

That's what it is all about. I have very fond memories hunting with my father. I have two boys that are all grown up now,but niether took a interest in waterfowling and that's ok. In regards to being a good year I would have to agree.

    Brad Bortner - band question

I shot a Canada goose one season with a very worn band. I sent it off and the band was later returned to me. It was determined that it had been banded over 12yrs ago.

Input request from wooden boat guys.

It almost looks looks like that there was some sort of seam compound at one point. You can always paint the floor with a good quality paint.Personally I prefer a oil based paint for a job like that.

    Feels Like A Funeral

Go on to Jamestown Supply web site, episode 37 is the last one. They show the sea trial. They put a 50hp on the boat ,it flies. Personally I think it's a little overpowered....just my 2cents. I really enjoyed the series.

    Bonus

As stated a great read....another good book is Game Warden Chesapeake Assignment by Willie Parker. He was the federal agent that was sent there to clean up all the shenanigans that occurred on the eastern shore.I can tell you this,he made a lot of enemies by doing so,but it needed to be done.

    Duck box

X2 on the cedar or cypress. I maintain about ten boxes all made out of rough sawn cedar and have not had to replace any boxes for a long time,as a matter of fact one is about 20yrs old.

    Older Browning A5 duck loads

I also own a sweet 16 A-5. Never have run steel through it. Back in the day, I used it for both upland and waterfowl. As stated before just make sure you have the rings set properly ( diagram should be inside the forearm after removing it) Mine is a 28 inch modified, great gun.

Excellent book. I have a copy of this in my library along with a lot of other great books. Interestingly enough my father ( who was a avid waterfowler) was the CEO of William Morrow for years.
