Jay, The 495s have removable liners as do the 465s. I can't tell you the difference in the two models - never owned the 465s

Ditto - Atlas 495's. I've had mine for at least 15 years. I have extra liners but rarely use them. Pull the liners, turn gloves inside out and they'll be dry in the morning. Most people I hunt with eventually wear 495's, either gifts from me or buy their own.

That's quite a beast, is a 29 hp SD going to be enough? Any idea of draft? I know how you attack a project - probably be ready for a test run before ice out. [cool]

Though I've never tried it on a motor, I wonder if toilet bowl cleaner would work. Clorox brand seems to work the best for me.

Ditto what Phil posted. My Memphis Net 5" clips never slide on the long line. I use 1/4" diamond braid nylon from Decoy Rigs.

Congrats on your retirement Larry, I wish you the best. Retirement is definitely all it's cracked up to be. Though I've been retired 8 years, I'm just now finding "new home waters ". Not in a new location but with my first ever Kayak. Already 3 fish fries from a spot I never fished before...

I agree Phil. Not alot of substance and the author keeps changing recommendations. 560 dogs out of 77,000,000 is hardly a significant result. Maybe something to keep an eye on but IMO shouldn't keep you up at night.

Hahaha, sounds like a great technique. I used to have a farming related cap that I'd wear when gaining permission - can't exactly remember but it was either a tractor or seed corn cap. I learned early on to never be in a hurry with farmers, they love to talk and the longer you talk the better...
