What have been common problems with the Ruger?

i was wanting to get an over & under (20 gauge) that would hold up in the wet, muddy duck hunting conditions as well as in the dove/quail fields. My "meat gun" has been the SBE II 12 gauge that I will probably continue to use for the most part, but you all have got me looking onto the 20 gauge...

I have a BBIII which was outside and under a boat cover, when two 'waves' of hail storms (one golf ball size covering the ground; the second golf ball and baseball sizes mixed) hit East TN. Almost all of the roofs in our area will have to be replaced ...some with holes just down the street, and...

Guys: Thanks for all of your input. I never expected to be leaning this way, but I am going to purchase some Nice Shot as a trial. Any advise as to shot size, loading info ...etc? I plan on reloading 2-3/4 inch shells and want to keep the velocities (and therefore the 'kick'!) reasonable...

Over the past 6 months, it seems that finding Hevi-Shot in bulk has become more and more difficult. Does anyone know of a good dependable source these days? Just trying to get ready for next season by reloading now. In advance, thanks for guidance on this... HC
