last I looked there where only a few places and prices had gone up, I don't have my old computer up with bookmarks, national balsa, lone star and specialized balsa come to mind. Again last time I looked solarbo didn't have anything but you could check. National is where we got it from, again...

No gesso, not even sure what it is or does........ 2 coats of GAC 700, base coat of solid color, then paint.

very nice Pat, I have a rig of Balsa birds that I made for out here. I am very happy with there durability especially the way I hunt/abuse them. I have a some dents, but Golden's provide a plastic like shell that really helps. My problem with denting has more to do the the balsa I got...

The is a wide range of quality in their guns. They do make some really nice stuff, but they also made some very low end guns. You would need to find out what model it is. The gun would not have chrome lined bores, and spainish metal is softer so you would need to treat like an older american...

I don't confess to liking the skb's but my dad does. the ones he has owned are chrome lined and steel safe, he has had a number of 100's over the years.

If the gun has chrome lined bores then taking out the chokes to IC/M would negate any benefits of the chrome lining. If its not a chrome lined bore then you need to take the chokes out to at least Mod to shoot steel.

Within the drahthaar we still track these four foundation dogs through our mother lines. They really don't bring the particular traits with them, after 100 years the traits are really just universal with the breed. I am not sure if the gwp(akc) track that information.

Yep one of the four foundation breeds....we see the kurzhaar, pudelpointer, and stichelhaar mother lines, can't say I remember that griffin mother line in modern pedigrees.....

I don't know tim.....I am kinda not looking forward to my litter, down to 6 weeks before she is due...but I never been through it so its the unknown that is a little scary. BTW no problem I think you made right choice even though you had to wait.

Tom is not able to make, neither could mike, which why my brother stepped in to help run it this year. to nice of show to let go of, even for one year.

tables are filling up for this decoy show. We also were able to get a respected collector to do free decoy appraisals for people.
