    Winchester Ammo "Rebate" Hoops. I.

Purchased a flat of Drylock Supremes (10 boxes) with the thought of getting back the $50 rebate. In past years to receive a rebate required proof of purchase and the UPC off the case. I requested paperwork to send in to get the rebate, and Winchester has decided to make the buyer cut the UPC off...

Wondering if any one has experience with Power Poles on their boat? Considering mounting a pair on my 19' full vee duck boat. -when used with sand or muck bottom, how well will they hold in the wind or a 2' chop? -when buying an 8' unit, is that 8' measured from the mounting bracket on the bow...

    Durability of Collapsible Decoy Bags?

Will soon be purchasing generation 3 of collapsible decoy bags and was wondering what thoughts others had on the toughness of these collapsible bags? I have found Ryobi to tear easy and Fishers to be to brittle in cold weather. Toro have performed the best of the three, but I see there is a...

Does anyone have experience with the Mercury Bigfoot 60hp? Trying to decide between a Merc 1999 optimal 75hp or a 2009 Merc Bigfoot 60hp for the same money. The motor would go on my 19', 97" wide, deep vee duck boat that weighs 2400b with decoys, 3 hunters, and dog. Thanks for any help or...

    Boat Cushions

Does any one know where you can buy the old style class IV kapok filled boat cushions in vinyl or canvas with piping on all the edges? All that seems to be available are the two foam sheets with a loose fitting nylon slip sewn over. The quality of these looks like a middle school homec project.

    Thank You Mr. Sanford

Thanks Steve for all the help. Having never seen a spray dodger except in pictures, and having no idea how to set up buttons, ropes/leathers, horns, etc. on oars, as this knowledge has almost disappeared from the midwest ( no canvas shop knew what a spray dodger was and no marina new...

Any one Using The Power Pole System For Duck Hunting?

Sorry, I do not possess the knowledge to post the Power Pole site here. Local dealer says they are $2400 per pair, but when compared to buying and island , or even some layout boats, that thing looks perfect for open water hunting out of a big rig. Just wondered if any one was using them?

    Vintage Duck Gun Post

Saw the post where gun preference was listed. A great collection of primarily autos and pumps. All fine funs to be sure, but lets see some of the vintage guns being used. Here is my 1876 B, Norman 10ga., a long time Purdey gun maker who made guns on his own late in his career.

    Open Water Boat Blind Question

Sold my layout and I'm not planning on replacing it. My 18' is painted open water gray and it is my preferred way to hunt, 2-3 guys and dog. My question is while trying to find the "blind" spot for decoying ducks, am I better to keep the profile low with a couple of heads above the boats...

Anyone Hunting With 3/4 Swan Decoys?

I have two large (36") swans (made by Chuck J), and have had enough success hunting with them, that I want a larger rig of them, but the size and weight is prohibitive. I have 12 cork goose (22") bodies cut out, but do not really need more geese. My question is, if I make these goose bodies...

    deBunking the Boat?

Is there a product on the market to make carpeted trailer bunks slicker? This is not a problem at deep ramps where the boat can be floated off, but it is sure a pane on shallower ramps. I looked in to plastics slides for the bunks, but they were not recommended for riveted boats. They have...
