Tod, I have a contact in Gilham, MB that is a Canadian Ranger and works for MB Hydro and frequents Churchill. I can contact him and see if he'd give you the skinny on how to do this DIY. If anyone can give you some tips he'll be able to. I'll let you know what he says.

Got the body roughed out in a couple of hours last night. After I took the picture I finished rounding and then got the cape area carved and the head positioned correctly and then got rid of all knife marks and got it hollowed out. Gonna do the head tonight and get #3 cut out.
