I use my 40# trolling motor in the early morning to sneak in and setup on sleeping birds without disturbing them. Works well. Oars come out for cripples after that.

WOW! now that's home schooling. When I get my Honda VFR that will be my trip without the canoe, camper and comfort......but it's on my bucket list and I'm going to get it done.
